For BKM Kitap, data collected via Meta Pixel remained incomplete due to browser restrictions, iOS updates, and user consent settings, leading to significant data loss in conversion measurement. To address this challenge, Meta Conversions API (CAPI) integration was implemented, strengthening the measurement infrastructure through a server-side data stream.

The Problem

In addition to Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API (server-side) integration was established.

Critical funnel events (ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase) began to be transmitted via server-side.

Data duplication was prevented through a robust event deduplication structure.

Match quality was improved by enriching user data through Advanced Matching.

Existing Pixel Audit

We reviewed the Meta Pixel setup and identified missing and faulty events.

We configured the Meta Conversions API via server-side GTM.

Deduplication

We set up event_id-based deduplication to prevent double-counting of browser and server-side events.

Results

Conversion loss decreased by 40%, ROAS increased by 22%, and the entire setup was completed within 2 weeks.
